Fall 2015 Fishing Report

Fall fishing has been fantastic here in Myrtle Beach! Due to the heavy rains we experienced in October, we’ve had to make adjustments in our tactics and the areas we’ve typically fish this time of year.

Bull redfish are stacked up along the beaches and inlets closer to the ocean so the Surf Fishing has been fantastic. Speckled trout have really turned and we’ve been having some 50+ fish days when the weather and tides have been in our favor. Despite the above average water temps, tarpon fishing began to subside after the big rain which pushed a lot of the baitfish out to the ocean. Regardless, we had an excellent tarpon bite in August in September.
