February Fishing Report – Myrtle Beach

The good redfishing we experienced in January carried over into February as redfish continue to stack up in big schools in shallow water near Myrtle Beach. Warmer weather is arriving in the South Carolina lowcountry, which means more opportunities for anglers to target different species. Look for flounder to begin showing up in the creek in good numbers as we get further into March. Speckled Trout fishing will also be improving on what has already been an exceptional winter due to the mild temperatures we’ve been experiencing.

We are entering the busy spring season with spring breakers and folks with cabin fever so if you are visiting Myrtle Beach or Pawleys Island this Spring and would like to get on the water, please contact me to make sure we can get you on the books for the best tides.
