Myrtle Beach Fishing Charters

The resort area of the Grand Strand is most commonly known for its beautiful beaches, friendly southern hospitality, tourist attractions, and shopping but it’s also located in a prime fishing location.
Just a short drive to south of Myrtle Beach is one the largest stretches of undeveloped coastline on the East Coast where visitors feel like they are truly stepping back in time. These unspoiled beaches and marshlands are teaming with wildlife including bald eagles, alligators, ospreys, sea turtles, and dolphin. These isolated estuaries provide many fishing options for target species like red drum, trout, flounder, tarpon, sharks, and more. This area offers true back-country style fishing which is good year around.
Nearshore fishing charter options are plentiful in the Myrtle Beach area as well. Cobia, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Spadefish are very abundant in the coastal waters leaving from Murrells Inlet or Georgetown. In the Spring we will often run the beaches sight-fishing to migrating cobia. Many nearshore wrecks are located just off the beach which are fish havens for many saltwater fish. During the Summer and Fall, tarpon begin feeding heavily on schools of baitfish, along with sharks and king mackerel.
Myrtle Beach fishing charters typically depart from the Georgetown Landing Marina located just off of Hwy 17 in Georgetown.
If you are looking to get away from the lights and attractions of Myrtle beach, then come experience the best fishing in South Carolina.
