- Where do you Surf fish?
Our charter fleet serves as a shuttle service leaving from Georgetown, where we have access to several isolated beaches and barrier islands. Most of our Surf Fishing trips take place on North Island, South Island or Cape Romain where there is very little human traffic. Average boat rides to the surf fishing grounds are 30 to 45 mins.
- When is the best time for surf fishing?
We offer surf fishing trips all year long, however May thru October are the best months for surf fishing. October is perhaps the best month as we are targeting Bull Redfish during their spawning season. Since a productive surf fishing outing is tide dependent we like to coordinate our trips based on the ideal tides.
- What type of fish will we catch?
Black Drum and Redfish are the primary targets on our surf fishing trips. Red Drum in the surf will average 10-15lbs while black drum will average 3-5lbs. Bull Redfish are common in the Fall months which can push 30lbs or more.
- How long is a Surf fishing charter?
